“Telling stories for a living allows me to intertwine two things I love - meeting and learning about new people, and exploring the world.”

Isobel Ewing has worked as a journalist in print and subsequently television for seven years. She’s covered domestic politics, a national election, breaking news and a wide range of environmental issues for which her work has been recognised with a national award. She’s interested in writing assignments on the topics of environment, sustainability and travel and also does voiceover work. Outside the newsroom Isobel can be found trail running, skiing, diving and actually, in all manner of outdoor escapades. The latest she’s decided to take up is bicycle touring.

She is currently cycling in Central Asia with her brother, Jack. Read about how she concocted this adventure here, and where in the world she is, here.
